The House of Mouse on ArtFire has this adorable "Jack Skellingmouse" as a tribute to the great Tim Burton Character Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King! This handmade mouse is definitely worth of the Freaky Friday Feature!!

"Freaky Friday Feature" is a weekly feature on my blog for all the "Hallo-weenies" out there that share my love for creep-tastic finds! If you have any ghoulish goodies that you'd like to see featured on a "Freaky Friday Feature" post, don't be shy and leave a comment on any of the "Freaky Friday Feature" blog posts. You never know, I might just use your suggestion ;)

This week's Freaky Friday Feature is a few of my spooky mugs! I never intended to collect spooky halloween-ish mugs but it seems I have a collection nonetheless! Here are a few of my favorites....

Every month I like to run a fun series. Every Monday I post a new blog entry in the featured series. Last month, I featured the "Super Resource List Series" which included a current look at my personal bookmarks for Crafty Blogs, Other Blog Stuff, Twitter Resources, and Misc Resources. If you missed last month's series, you missed out on some great resources! Don't worry though, you can follow the links above and get in the loop :)

This month my feature series is called "My Artist Studio Series: A Closer Look at Where I Work". I really hope other people share their work spaces too because I love to see where other people get creative. BTW, Flickr has some great artsy workspaces.

Last week I showed you what's next to all the craft supplies in my ikea storage solution. This week I'll be showing you some of the goodies by my wooden work table.

Above is the other bulletin board in my studio. It's a "just for fun" space right now. It has lots of pictures and other goodies (can you spot the spider tattoos?).

Above is a few orders that I was processing when I took these pictures :)

Above is my little stash of post it notes, note cards, markers, pens, and pencils.

Check out another area of my studio next Monday!

Until then, please share your studio space :)
Here's a look at what I was up to this weekend - You'll notice that I was very busy in the studio! There will be lots of updates to my AF shop in the next little while because Drew finished building the light box for me this weekend! I can't wait to use it and share all my latest creations in high quality pictures! On another note, I had the pleasure of seeing Coraline this weekend. It was no Nightmare Before Christmas, but a keeper nonetheless. :)

Last week I showed you the window in my studio and all the goodies that it holds. This week I'll be sharing a corner of the studio that holds the majority of my art supplies.

Above is one of my bulletin boards where I post all the orders I need to fill. I also have a few tools that I use a lot, business cards, return mailing labels, a few other notes (like a supply list), die cut examples, and stamps. There are also a few other goodies attached to it at the moment - bat templates and a bat mobile that I still need to assemble.

Above is a close-up of "Zero" on my TNBC calendar.

Above is a picture where I store a lot of my craft supplies. In the first tower (on the left), the bottom red basket holds my solid coloured cardstock. The middle holds tools, glitter, ink, etc. The top basket holds embellishments for paper crafts (yes, I actually have a whole basket JUST for embellishments haha). The very top of this tower holds some finished cards and those glittery Christmas tree embellishments because they wont fit into the basket right now. In the next tower, the bottom red basket holds all my die cuts and embossing folders (it's currently overflowing!). The next red basket hold all my gocco supplies (bulbs, drying racks, master screens). Next, there is a red basket full of new supplies that I'm using for an extra special project :). Next, the tower on the right, has our "junk drawer" on the bottom, a tup of all my ribbon, and my Big Shot machine on top of that.

Above is a close up of that extra special project I mentioned above. I bet you can guess what I'm up to now :)

This week I'm letting you have a peek at the window in my studio and all the goodies it holds. My Plurk and Twitter friends already had a sneak peek but now I'll show you even more!

Above is an overview of the window and my beloved curtains in all  their glory! As many of you know, I'm a HUGE "The Nightmare Before Christmas" fan and basically celebrate Halloween all year long.

Above is a closer look at the goodies that live on the window cill. 2 of my TNBC mugs that arrived broken in the mail (2 others arrived safely and we use them often), NES Super Mario Brothers toys (Princess Peach and a Chain Chomp), a Christmas decoration (see below), a photo frame of my dog and I, and my black rose in a sweet holder (see below).

And you thought I only celebrated Halloween all year long! Although I don't go "all out" for Christmas like I do for Halloween, I do celebrate Christmas in my own little (morbid) way, he he. Above is the only Christmas decoration that stays out all year long. It's a "Living Deadarium X-mas Edition: Candy Rot" that I purchased on Etsy from "BlackthornCreations". It is one of my purchases from Etsy.

Above is a closer look at my black rose being "held" by my favourite "vase" hehe. I got both of them a few years ago at Michael's.

Is it just me or does someone look strangely familiar here?

Oh, and while I was surfing around - first looking for a copy of the Return to Oz - which then turned into a nightmare before christmas fun hunt, I found some really cool things....

1.
Poe and Ice Bat - So Happy Together, 2. Day 3, 3. Elvira Mistress of the Dark by Electric Tiki Design, 4. Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead!

I thought I would share just a few of my favs from around Flickr. It's no secret that I'm a fan of creepy, quirky and crafty things. The above group of pix really captures some of my most favorite things: kooky crafty critters, the Nightmare Before Christmas, Elvira, and The Wizard of Oz.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! Today I wrote an exam (thank goodness that is over!), hung out with my best friend, and now I'm relaxing with my man. All the dogs are relaxing too. It's a peaceful household :)

I should also mention that St. Patrick's Day is coming up quickly! I'll be running "Animal Lovers Day" on St. Patrick's Day to teach kids how to be humane citizens. It should be fun :) My shop has a few goodies that are perfect for St. Patrick's Day. Check them out if you're interested:

A recent experiment in embossing.
This is definitely embossing SBD style!
Don't you just love anything inspired by Tim Burton and his fabulous movies? I know I do :)
