He goes by the name of Ugly Bat Boy - no prizes for guessing why.

This follicly-challenged feline has become a tourist attraction because of his bizarre appearance.

Eight-year-old Ugly, whose breed is not known, spends most of his time keeping warm by sitting on a computer at the Exeter Veterinary Hospital in New Hampshire.

Unlucky in looks: Ugly Bat Boy is bald except for an unkempt bib of hair around his neck

Staff at the veterinary hospital have even been forced to put up fliers saying he's perfectly normal - just unattractive.

They claim he makes up for his terrible looks by having inner beauty and a nice disposition.

He's also turned into something of a tourist attraction in Exeter, New Hampshire, America.

'People come in and take pictures of him on their cell phones,' staff member Christie Hartnett said.

'He's just great. The impression from clients that come in is he's not real because he just sits so still.

'When he does move, he scares them, but they still think he's mesmerizing.'

Ugly and his sister, who only survived a few weeks, were both born without fur.

Despite his looks, staff say he likes as much fuss as any ordinary cat

And although he may not look like an ordinary cat, staff at the hospital say he behaves exactly like every other feline they've ever known.

He loves attention and is very friendly.

Check out this great summery of seriously the most horrific scenes for a kid in the 80s (like me!) to have been exposed to *shiver* : Ten of the Scariest Scenes in 80s Movies I Saw as a Kid

Ok people, why didn't anyone send me this card last week when I needed it? lol!

I just stumbled across some amazingly gothic dresses on Etsy! They are from "Romantic Threads". Definitely check out this shop if you get the chance. If I didn't already have a white wedding dress, I'd be getting one of these FOR SURE! Here are my absolute favorites:

"Freaky Friday Feature" is a weekly feature on my blog for all the "Hallo-weenies" out there that share my love for creep-tastic finds! If you have any ghoulish goodies that you'd like to see featured on a "Freaky Friday Feature" post, don't be shy and leave a comment on any of the "Freaky Friday Feature" blog posts. You never know, I might just use your suggestion ;)
Here's a look at our jack-o-lanterns from this year!

Oh, and don't forget about some home decor...this isn't "halloween decor", it's "all year around decor" ;)

Behold! The terrors of high school math class! I remember my math class being like a REAL horror because it was taught by the spawn of satan (at least I'm pretty sure he was a spawn.. he could have been satan himself for all I know!).... Why couldn't I have a math class like the one in the video below? I might have actually passed them! haha

Feel free to sing along with me :)
Here's a bunch of costume ideas I found on flickr! If you're up for a full night (or less) of costume-making you could totally pull off these costumes!

I'm not sure how to explain this but I love the above video more than I could possibly explain. It brings me back to a time in my childhood where my "to do list" (yes, I've always had to do lists) consisted of "draw all the creations in Ed Emberley's Drawing Book of Halloween" and "use all the construction paper on window decorations for Halloween". I'm so lucky my parents encouraged me as a "little artist". I was allowed to cover ALL the front windows with my creations and of course, there wasn't even enough space around Halloween for the light to come through those windows! We borrowed Ed Emberley's Drawing Book of Halloween so many times at the public library that they finally told us that we can't renew it every single time we needed to bring it back! We needed to let someone else borrow it! lol. I'm now so proud to own my own copy. Even if it's a "kids book", it's one of my most cherished books. I spent so many hours with this book and it certainly still inspires my creations now, over 20 years later! So, not only does the above video remind me of all the wonderful creatures in Ed Emberley's book, but the music reminds me of one of my fav movies, Edward Scissorhands. I've loved this movie since it came out in 1990. The above video is a great mix of these two things I love. Whimsical and spooky things like this give me a tingling feeling from my head to my toes. I'm in awe just like a child on Christmas morning. I'm completely captivated and can't look away. It's like visual and audio crack for me!!! If I was a junky, these types of things (the above video, Ed's book, and Edward) would be my addiction - my crack! I just had to share this with you for this Freaky Friday Feature. I wanted to show you a more personal side of me and show you what grabs me and wont let go! I hope there are things in your life that you love so much you can't explain either. We all know that our loved ones have the first spot in our lives and people can easily relate to that. My love for whimsical spooky things is harder to explain, harder to expect people to relate to. I'm sure there are few of you out there that understand. I wish each one of you a full lifetime of inspiring visual & audio candy to feed your creepy artsy soul.

I found these paper tombstones the other day and couldn't wait to share them! You all know I have a passion for paper and live my life in Halloween culture, so these are the perfect blend of spooky passion to me! You can see lots more pictures of these creations, including a pattern, here.

Today's Freaky Feature is this AWESOME Coffin Couch I found on Etsy! It's in amazing! If I had $3500 to spend on a couch, you know this would be the one I'd pick! The listing description says "Why not enjoy the comfort of the afterlife today?" I couldn't have said it better myself!
